SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

For Our client, an international FMCG company, we are looking for a Senior Accountant, based in Poznan.

Requirements:
- 3- 4 years experience in a production company as senior accountant or deputy chief accountant
- Polish statutory accounting certificate is a must
- have strong understanding of legal entity statutory reporting requirements (VAT, CIT, etc) proven by an experience gained in a position of senior accountant or chief accountant
- have very good working knowledge of Polish accounting rules
- familiar with ERP systems ( preferably MFG/PRO)
- able to show the progress in professional development (trainings completed, new areas of responsibility)
- have strong experience of financial controls required in a manufacturing environment
- service minded and results oriented person
- proven ability of managing a team of finance and accounting staff
- good English language skills
- experience in dealing with EU grants (will be an advantage)
- experience in start- ups (will be an advantage)
- business awareness and ability to go above purely financial and accounting areas

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accounting books are compliant with Polish accounting and tax rules
- Ensuring timely submission and preparation of tax declarations
- Accounting of all costs
- Verification of the accuracy and completeness of the supporting documentation
- Taking part in the internal and external audits (including tax controls)
- Ensure required business licences and legal documents are kept in order and up to date
- Complete ad- hoc projects assigned by Finance Manager and Operations manager
